A TASTE OF
WINE & CHEESE 2012 Over the past twenty three years, the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay's annual
"A Taste of Wine & Cheese" event has grown to become the premier wine tasting in Wisconsin. Set for February 9th and 10th the two-evening event begins with our exclusive Gourmet Winemakers Dinner held at The Marq.
BelGioioso Cheese of Denmark, Wisconsin has continually offered its support as the featured Cheese maker. Each of the five courses of the Gourmet Dinner is specially prepared to complement the accompanying wine. Our Gourmet Dinner also features a voice auction offering our guests “unique experiences” to bid on.
The second evening is the Wine & Cheese General Tasting, held at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center Green Bay. Last year the tasting attracted over 1200 participants and raised $170,000. The evening offers a chance to sample over 300 wines from distributors and wineries throughout the country. A variety of delicious Italian cheeses provided by BelGioioso Cheese are also available for sampling. There is an expansive array of hors d' oeuvres offered throughout the evening. The event also boasts a large silent auction with over 150 items up for bid.
