Eric Vanden Heuvel

Eric Vanden Heuvel – Chief Academic Officer

Eric was hired as the Chief Academic Officer in the summer of 2014 after serving as an elementary administrator for four years in the Pulaski Community School District. Prior to that, he taught grades 3-6 in the Kimberly and Pulaski school districts. In addition, Eric has also served as an adjunct professor in the Educational Leadership program at Concordia University.

Born and raised in Green Bay, Eric is a proud graduate of the Green Bay Area Public School District. In fact, he grew up less than a mile from the Westside Clubhouse. After graduating from Preble High School, he attended UW-Oshkosh before transferring to UW-Green Bay. He graduated from UWGB in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Earth Science. In 2012, he completed his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. His professional interests include leadership/character development, personalized learning, technology integration, student engagement, and project/problem based learning.

Eric lives in Suamico with his wife, Jess, and son, Elliot. He is an avid gardener and enjoys all outdoor activities, including golfing, fishing, and camping.
