The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay hosts several exciting special events throughout the year in order to raise funds for and support local youth. A Taste of Wine & Cheese

Event made possible by BelGioioso Cheese & Festival Foods

Location: Radisson Hotel & Conference Center

Date: February 15th, 2019

One of the area’s largest wine tasting events, A Taste of Wine & Cheese is the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay’s signature event. The tasting attracts more than 1,200 participants and offers a chance to sample more than 400 wines from distributors across the country.

A variety of delicious Italian cheeses, provided by BelGioioso Cheese, are available for sampling along with an expansive array of heavy hors d’oeuvres throughout the evening thanks to Festival Foods. In addition to the great pours and bites available, the event boasts a large silent auction, raffles, activities and an unforgettable evening.      

The Gourmet Winemaker’s Dinner

The Gourmet Winemaker’s Dinner offers an elegant, intimate tasting experience along with a five-course delectable meal. Each course is paired with a wine from our featured winemaker and fine cheese from the featured cheesemaker.

Date: February 14th, 2019

This exclusive, black-tie event also includes a live auction, offering an opportunity to bid on luxury items and unique experiences, all while supporting thousands of  local children. 


Boys & Girls Club Week

2019 Dates: April 8-12

Throughout this week, our Club is open to all, so that you can see what we do, how we do it and what you can do to be a part of it!

For free, kids can come attend programs and be a part of our Club culture throughout the week. We invite all supporters, parents and friends to join us and take tours! You can see exactly what you and your investment, support and belief has done for local youth.

If you’re a local business or homeowner, please also consider being a part of our local initiative – “Paint the Town Blue“! We’re hoping to show our youth that we, and our community, are dedicated to helping them open doors to brighter futures. So, we’re offering blue paper and a door sign for you to hang and show support! Let’s PAINT THE TOWN BLUE!

 The Golf Classic

One of the largest fundraisers for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay, this exclusive and athletic event is limited to 144 participants and boasts a full day of golfing followed by dinner, an awards ceremony and a live auction.

Greater Green Bay Dragon Boat Races

Grab a paddle, make your way to the City Deck, and unleash your inner dragon! The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Green Bay is excited to announce the first-ever Greater Green Bay Dragon Boat Races! On July 28, 2018, authentic dragon boats will be prominently displayed at City Deck, and participants will showcase their team work with some good-natured and spirited competition. Support our local Boys and Girls Club by being an event sponsor or registering as a corporate, community, or club team. Individual signups are also welcome! Nonprofit rates available!

Great Team-Building Opportunity:

Dragon boat racing is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world and focuses on the importance of collaboration, communication, and efficiency. Sound familiar? Just like the work place, dragon boat racing does not focus on individual strength, but on team involvement and working together towards a common goal – not to mention, it’s a lot of fun!

Donald Driver Foundation Day for Kids

Join the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay at either Clubhouse – Lutsey Unit (1451 University Ave.) or Nagel Unit (311 S. Onedia St.)  to have fun at the 7th annual  The Donald Driver Foundation Day for Kids event!

The event was made to recognize the importance of spending meaningful time with kids in our community – especially our young family members. The event offers free family fun to the entire community and will feature free family games, a photo booth, inflatable obstacle courses, face painting, arts & crafts and a healthy meal!

Steak & Burger

Join the excitement at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay’s annual Steak & Burger event that benefits local youth. During the event, adults dine on burgers and fries, while Club Members receive a special steak dinner. A special, and often times first ever, treat for our young guests.

Festival Food’s 11th Annual Turkey Trot

Location: ShopKo Hall, 1901 S Oneida Street, Green Bay, WI 54304

Date: Thanksgiving 2019

The Festival Foods Turkey Trot features a timed 5-mile run or an untimed 2-mile fun run/walk that is open to everyone of all ages and abilities – even your pup! Attendees will enjoy a fun-filled race with upbeat music, high quality long-sleeved shirts, free Festival Foods pumpkin pies and a single serve Cameron’s Coffee at the finish line! Learn more about registration fees.
