Prepares teens with the skills to successfully compete for work and be a better employee once hired. Members progress through a three step, sequential program. Career Launch teaches career goal setting, workplace etiquette, resume/cover letter writing, and more. Money Matters helps teens understand financial responsibility and literacy, budgeting, interest accrual, credit scores, and more. Finally, Junior Staff is a work-based learning experience that instills employability skills in teens as they apply and work in a paid position for 10 weeks in a Club setting.
I loved being a Junior Staff. It felt great to have higher responsibilities and coaching on job skills. It really enabled me to build confidence and
self-awareness to be successful on a team. It made me appreciate just how much the Club did for me and for our community.
T2W helped me to better understand what it means to be a professional. I learned that money is something we should learn to manage as teenagers, so we’re responsible with it as adults.
